Project Description
Child Aid is a community based project which involves 3500 families. The children, families and their communities organize themselves and take action within the 10 universal lines of development. Our lines of implementation help to improve the lives of the children with or without parents, ensuring their survival, creating opportunities for them to develop and use their full potential.
Location
Child Aid Kukwanisa is in Mutasa district, Manicaland Province about 71 kilometres from the town of Mutare along Nyanga road.
Project Activities
The project is implementing within the 10 lines which are as follow:
- Strengthening the economy of the family
- Health and hygiene and the fight against HIV/AIDS-
- Pre-schools
- Children as active in the political, social, cultural and economic spheres of society
- Children without parents
- Education
- District development
- Environment
- Food Security
- Promotion of trade and Rural enterprenuership

To improve the lives of the children with or without parents, ensuring their survival, creating opportunities for them to develop and use their full potential.

Social welfare

Ministry of Youth development and empowerment
District AIDS Action Committee
Agritex and NGOs.
Local authorities that include DA’s office, Council, DDF, Police, Chiefs, councillors and village heads.
