Hope project was officially opened on the 5th of December 1998 by Doctor Lincoln. S. Chirimari who was the Provincial Medical Director for Mashonaland Central Province. The project is involved in the community mobilization for the purpose of educating and training on HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care voluntary counseling and testing ( V.C.T )post test services through psycho-social and nutritional counseling.
